Although most Americans will not like to hear it, the only modern countries where people are worse off in terms of their health than America are Mexico, Poland, Turkey, Slovenia and Hungary. We are speaking of health in terms of the number of years that the people of that country live in poor health before dying. Click here or on the graph to below to see more details.
These statistics should make no sense to Americans. They (collectively) spend the most money on health care of all nations, yet they are near the bottom of all nations for the return they are getting on this investment. Except for the five mentioned countries, Americans have the most miserable end of life experience of any people on earth. And, if that weren’t enough, Americans are near the bottom of all nations in terms of longevity as well.
These statistics beg the question, Why? —when Americans spend more on medical care and vitamins than the rest of the nations of the earth combined?
How SAD It Is!
The S.A.D. —— Standard American Diet —— coupled with Allopathic Medical Care is what creates America’s abysmal health statistics. The SAD diet is characterized by very little raw food, insufficient mineral rich foods, far too many denatured fats, (example: fried chicken, other fried foods and use of long-shelf-life vegetable oils and far too many calories.
Allopathic Medical Care, which is drug, surgery and radiation based medicine (i.e. symptom-control-medicine) is wonderful in terms of acute symptoms or trauma care, fixing of congenital defects and for delivery babies when complications occur. But, Allopathy is not the way to be healthy. And, the popular modern fad of Vitamin pill popping does not fix the basic paradigm problem that Americans have in regard to relying on Allopathic medicine.
Sadly, it may likely take another couple of generations before Americans that “nutritious food and internal cleanliness” is the true way to health Essentially, Americans need to apply the logic of how to take care of a car to the challenge of how to take care of a human body. When they do so, they will abandon allopathy and embrace naturopathy (eating balanced micronutrients that are available in raw food) and preventing or elimiinating toxicities. Learn how to do this nowby browsing our health topics.
Don’t Believe the Lie That Vitamin Pills Will Save You From Bad Food Choices
Many people actually believe that taking vitamins will compensate for their SAD diet. Sadly, such beliefs in false concepts is at the root of America’s health problem. All vitamins do is give one a false sense of security. Dr. William R. Kellas (nutritional biochemist and co-founder of the multidisciplinary Center for Advanced Medicine and co-founder of nutritional products supplier Integris Global) says this about vitamins: “My health never improved until I gave up on vitamins and turned to food itself.”
The Root Cause of Poor Health is Toxicity and Poor Nutrition
The fast pace of modern living coupled with the convenience of nutritionally empty, fast and packaged foods deters most people from taking the time to plan, shop, prepare and eat nutrient dense meals that emphasize plenty of raw foods. But, even for those who aren’t caught up in a frantic pace of life, nutrition may be difficult.
Nutritious Food Isn’t So Easy To Obtain Anymore
Home-prepared meals used to be the healthiest meals that people ate. Now, far too often, home-prepared meals are the worst — because they are made from highly processed, “long shelf-life, little nutrition” foods.
For those who are trying to prepare meals from scratch, America’s soils are deficient in minerals and iodine, making the resulting meals deficient in a great many nutrients.
That’s why everyone who values their health needs to consider well their plan for getting all the nutrients needed. Growing one’s own foods may be something to consider. See the Tower Garden opportunity to grow plants at home. Also, consider supplementing with Healthy Living recommended food based products listed at the beginning of this page.
- Hippocrates had it right a long time ago — when he said, “Let Food Be Your Medicine”.
- Thomas Edison envisioned the correct wellness paradigm a century ago when he said, “The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest her or his patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.”
It is human nature to look for complex answers to every problem. The truth is, however, that small and simple things done on a regular basis are the real solutions to our greatest challenges in every aspect of life. The solution to wellness is to eat nutrient dense, raw food and to maintain a toxin free body through constant effort to cleanse the internal body. So, what do we do when we don’t have enough time to prepare meals from raw vegetables, seeds, grains, healthy oils, etc.
